Department of Microbiology is offering following degree programs.

A four-year BS degree in Microbiology is being offered in department of microbiology. Regular and self supporting sessions are admitted. This program covers the different aspects of microorganisms. Students are being trained for food microbiology, medical microbiology, pharmaceutical, environmental microbiology and management of infectious waste.

MPhil Microbiology is a self-supporting two-year research-based degree. This program equips the students with advanced knowledge and skill. Research is an important component of M.Phil degree. Student conduct research under the supervision of a faculty member. This prepares the students for career in different fields of microbiology.
