Our mission is to provide a platform to our students for excellence and innovation in Visual Arts, Media and Design, and to facilitate creative engagement, modernism and professionalism.
The Department of Fine Arts was established as an independent unit at the University in 2002 by Prof. Dr. Erfan Ullah Babar as Founder. The Department of Fine Arts foundations goes back to the 1960s when Fine Arts was introduced and taught as an Intermediate course by Professor Aslam Minhas. In 2006, Department established the Minhas Art Gallery, which curated its first exhibition to showcase Professor Aslam Minhas's work and continues to exhibit the works of established and emerging artists. Department is devoted to excellence and creativity in Visual Arts, Media and Design. The Fine Arts Department emphasizes technical education and ideas equally.
