Dr. Nazir Ahmed Institute of Zoology was inaugurated by Mrs. Hina Jiwan Shah
(daughter-in-law of Dr. Nazir Ahmad) on Monday, October 23, 2023. The institute is named after Dr. Nazir
Ahmad, a renowned Pakistani Zoologist who made significant contributions to the field.
The Dr. Nazir Ahmed Institute of Zoology is a state-of-the-art teaching and research institute in Biology and its related fields. Currently, there are two historically significant departments under its umbrella; the Department of Molecular Biology and the Department of Zoology. This institute aims to launch new academic programs and departments related to Biological Sciences.
