Instructions to Authors

Submission of manuscripts: Original manuscript should be submitted to the Editor.

  • Authors are requested to submit a copy of the manuscript, a cover sheet, which shows the title of the study, the authors’ name, the institutional affiliation and address and email of the corresponding author.
  • The first page of text should omit the author’s name and affiliation. However, it should include the title of the research.
  • It is desirable to duly acknowledge the contribution of all the persons, organizations and institutions involved in the research.
  • The corresponding authors have to submit duly filled in agreement form, given on the website of PJSCP, along with the submitted manuscript for the journal.
  • Each manuscript should be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources. All accepted articles will become the property of the publishing body.
  • All parts of the manuscript should be formatted according to the guidelines provided in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th Edition); it should be typewritten, double spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Manuscript pages should be numbered consecutively throughout the paper.
  • Authors should also supply a shortened version of the title suitable for the running head, not exceeding 50 character spaces.
  • Each article should be summarized in an abstract of not more than 200 words and a minimum of 150 words. The author should also mention 5-6 keywords.
  • The minimum length of an original manuscript should be 5000 words and it should be no longer than 8000 words or 30 pages including references and appendices. If submission is considered to be published as a short report it should be 2000-4000 words long.
  • Manuscripts, including tables, figures and references, should be prepared in accordance with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th Edition).

Tables and Figures: Tables and figures should not be embedded in the text, but should be included as separate sheets or files. A short descriptive title should appear above each table with a clear legend and any footnotes suitably identified below. All units must be included. Figures should also be completely labeled.

Format: The manuscript should be organized according to the Journals format.

Introduction (no heading), Method (Participants, Instruments, Procedure, Ethical Considerations), Results, Discussion (after discussion list Implications, Limitations

and Future Recommendations, Conclusion ) and References.

Correspondence and submission: Correspondence between editorial office and author(s) will be done through email. Please give email address that corresponding author intends to keep for at least a couple of years after publication.
