Pakistan Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology (PJSCP) is a HEC recognized Y category Journal, published biannually by the Department of Psychology, Government College University, Lahore. The first Issue of PJSCP was published in summer 2003. The Journal caters original research articles and brief reports. Over the years of its publication PJSCP has published qualitative and quantitative research articles and short reports from researchers across the globe since 2003.
PJSCP follows a double blind review policy and the ethical guidelines given by the HEC and American Psychological Association (APA) for Publication. The identity of the reviewer and the author is kept confidential. Renowned national and international Researches and academicians are the consulting reviewers of this journal.
PJSCP provides a forum for dissemination of findings related to social and clinical areas of Psychology, although not totally excluding other fields. The journal aims to enhance the understanding of social, environmental and cultural factors in the etiology and outcomes of mental health problems as affecting individuals and society. We welcome articles from psychology, psychiatry, sociology, organizational behaviors and other disciplines allied to mental health and well-being. We publish both quantitative and qualitative research and give both approaches equal importance. In addition to regular length articles, brief reports are also published.
