Financial Aid Rules / Policy

  1. Students are required to apply for financial aid on the prescribed application form along with complete supporting documents. Incomplete or single-page applications shall not be entertained.
  2. No financial aid shall be granted at the time of admission. Students shall be eligible to apply for financial aid after depositing the minimum first semester fee. However, orphan students may apply after depositing half of the first semester fee.
  3. Financial aid shall be granted subject to the availability of funds in the Financial Aid budget of the respective Regular and Self-Supporting Programs.
  4. University fee once deposited shall not be refunded from the Financial Aid budget.
  5. Financial aid shall not be granted for any extended period beyond the prescribed duration of the academic program.
  6. Financial assistance shall not be granted for repeated course(s).
  7. The selected students will be granted financial aid for the entire duration of the academic program, subject to satisfactory academic performance and compliance with University rules.
  8. Financial aid will be discontinued if a student obtains two (02) or more “F” grades or is declared “Ineligible.” Furthermore, students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5 to continue receiving financial aid.
  9. Students availing any other scholarship shall not be eligible for Financial Aid under this policy.
  10. Applicants shall be eligible to apply for financial aid only if the total monthly income of the father/family does not exceed Rs. 70,000/-.
  11. Any case not falling within the defined criteria but considered by the Vice Chancellor on compassionate grounds shall be referred to the Financial Aid Committee for review and recommendation.
  12. A student shall be required to refund the entire amount of financial aid received if he/she is found to be receiving a scholarship from any other donor, agency, or authority.
  13. Students must clear/adjust their remaining University dues without fine within fifteen (15) days from the date of approval of the Financial Aid.
  14. The results of students (scholars) shall be obtained from the Controller of Examinations. It shall be the responsibility of the Examination Department to provide results within the stipulated time.
  15. Provision of false information or misconduct with officials/officers may result in cancellation of financial aid.
