Guidelines for Manuscript

  • For submission of new articles, the authors are requested to email on this address: economic.journal@gcu.edu.pk
  • Abstract should not exceed 200 words. One hard copy and soft copy of manuscript must be submitted. All manuscripts must be double-spaced (text, notes, tables, etc.) and typed in Times New Roman, Font size 12. Allow right and left hand margins of 1 inch each. Use of capital letters should be only where necessary.
  • Notes to each article should appear in a separate section, at the end of the article. However, footnotes are preferred. The first note should be an acknowledgement or exploratory note about the author(s) and should be starred (*). End note number should be in parenthesis. However, footnotes should be written in superscript form. All end notes or footnotes should be a separate single paragraph or line.
  • All references should be listed in alphabetical order of the author(s) surnames at the end of the text. References in the text should include surname(s) as el1 as the year of publication. For citation in the text of a reference with more than two authors, write first author’s surname followed by et al. Example:

  • Any mathematical equation in the text should be separated from the text with at least 1- inch margin above and below. Tables should be printed on a separate page. Each table should be numbered and referred to in sequence in the text each figure (illustration) should be on a separate sheet of paper.
