Eligibility Criteria for MS/MPhil Admission
A candidate having sixteen years of Education or 4-Year education ( 130 credit hours) after HSSC/ A-Level/ Grade-12/ Equivalent in the relevant subject. The minimum required marks/ grades for admission in MS/MPhil will beas follows:
- Faculty of Science & Technology 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 50% in an Annual Examinations.
- Faculty of Engineering 2.50/4 .00 CGPA or 50% in an Annual Examination.
- Faculty of Arts & Social Science 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 50% in an Annual Examination.
- Faculty of Languages | Islamic & Oriental Learning 2.50/4.00 CGPA or 50% in Annual Examination.
- Only those candidates will be eligible to apply for admission to MS/MPhil who qualify the GCU-GAT with minimum 60% marks.
- Candidates working in Government/ Semi Government or private institutions may apply. Such candidates shall have to submit "No Objection Certificate" from the Head of the Institution where they are working.
- There is no age limit for admission to MS/MPhil Programme.
- A "Notification of Registration " of the candidates approved for admission in MS/MPhil Programme shall be issued by the Registrar.

Merit shall be determined on the basis of marks actually scored out of 200.
Note: Only those candidates will appear for interview who have passed the GCU Assessment Test.
One Year Topup (MS in Clinical Psychology)
MSc Psychology and One Year Diploma from HEC recognized institution with two years experience.
MS Computer Science
BS (CS) 4-Year Degree Programme (minimum 130 credit hours)
OR
Computer Science Conversion Course 2-Year Degree Programme referred to as MCS or MSc (CS)
OR
16-Year Science and Engineering graduates are eligible but they have to cover deficiencies.
MS Forensic Chemistry:
Students who have passed BSc (Hons)/ MSc (Biochemistry | Biotechnology | Botany | Chemistry | Forensic Chemistry | Microbiology | Molecular Biology | Zoology) or equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/ Institution.
MS Industrial/ Organizational Psychology
Minimum 16 Years of education in Psychology or Business Management from a HEC recognized institution.
