We highly encourage the graduate students and early career scholars to send the abstracts, and look forward to the contributions from the established scholars, researchers, and practitioners, working on the applicability of global ideas to local societies or within the paradigm of globalization.
Your contributions will enrich the knowledge within the interdisciplinary fields of Global Studies.

The conference will focus on the global landscapes that are transforming through the process of globalization, each domain of life, and every epistemic paradigm is influenced. Moreover, rapid technological advancements have increased the compression of time and space (Steger 2013). The heightened interconnectedness at the global level (Mohiudinn, 2023), which is generally associated with transnational identities, is leading to a direct influence on the culture and identities of individuals. As a result, shifts in individual identities (Bearce et al., 2023) have become inevitably apparent. However, it is also observed that many individuals reject their representation of global identity and instead seek indigenous and local individualities. This tension gives rise to negotiations that surround discourses about inequalities, development, and global representations, thus constructing novel local and global identities.
This conference intends to observe the tensions and negotiation through an interdisciplinary lens within various academic paradigms. We are interested in papers and panels that assess challenges and opportunities that emerge while navigating the global landscapes, covering the broadly interpreted themes of representation, Identity, development, and inequalities within the following paradigms, yet not exclusive to these.
