Functions of Department
The main functions of Department are to:-
- Devise long term Development Plans as per Vision 2025/ MTDF, Government of Pakistan.
- Prepare PC-I, PC-II, PC-III, PC-IV ,PC- V
- Submit Monthly/Quarterly Progress Reports(HEC, Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (PMES)
- Prepare One Pager Module for ongoing projects
- Monitor the Progress of Ongoing Development Projects
- Prepare Annual Cash , Work & Activities plan
- Prepare Performa's of Public Sector Development Programme(PSDP)/ Annual Development Programme (ADP)
- Identify Source of Funding / Financing (Federal / Provincial)
- Coordinate Meetings with Monitoring Teams of Higher Education Commission and Planning Commission, Govt. of Pakistan
- Coordinate with Higher Education Department, Punjab Higher Education Commission, and Planning & Development Department, Govt. of the Punjab and other sponsoring agencies.
