The Department possesses basic requirements for quality teaching. At present, it has all the sports facilities like Football, Hockey & Cricket grounds, Basketball, Badminton, Squash, Volleyball, Handball, Tennis Courts and Fitness Gym separate for males and females. For practical work computers, internet and printing facilities are also available on campus. Rich collections of latest books are accessible at the central and post graduate library.
Ravians' Health and Sports Society is supposed to promote physical fitness and emotional well-being amongst the students and the faculty. Its office bearers took charge in December, 2013. RHSS is organizing University, Provincial & National level events to promote Health, Physical Education & Sports.
Due to their training in highly professional and scientific way, our students in Physical Education & Sports Science may perform exceptionally well in various fields of life. Sports have a large job market in Public and Private Sectors; demand of qualified sports personnel is increasing day by day. The students of GCU Physical Education Department are filling the vacuum of qualified technical officials by voluntarily participating and organizing various domestic and national events with the collaboration of HEC, Sports Board Punjab and National Federations.
