Biography

Prof. Dr. Syeda Salma Hasan is a dedicated and accomplished academician with an illustrious teaching career spanning over 29 years. She has earned numerous accolades throughout her distinguished journey, including the Roll of Honour, Certificates of Merit, the K.B. Nanak Buksh Medal, the GC University Best Teacher Award, and the HEC Best University Teacher Award in the category of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Dr. Hasan has supervised more than eighty BS (Hons.) and MS/M.Phil theses, along with eleven PhD dissertations across diverse areas such as Educational, Social, Forensic, Developmental, Clinical, Religious, and Health Psychology. Her primary areas of interest include Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, and Forensic Psychology.

She has the honour of having chaired the Department of Psychology at GC University three times during her career. Dr. Hasan is also an active member of several academic bodies of prestigious universities and has a strong publication record in reputable national and international journals.
