The Department of Electronics was established in September 2022. Previously, Electronics section was the part of Department of Physics which is the oldest Science Department, here at GCU.
The BSc (Hons) Electronics program (Morning) was launched in the year 2006 by the Department of Physics, GC University Lahore. The department also started BSc (Hons) Electronics (self-supporting) program in 2020. The requirements of academia are fulfilled by the well-educated faculty. The program prepares its students for career development in both public and private sector. As an electronics graduate, you’ll have global opportunities to work in areas such as communications, scientific research, system automation, control systems and sensors technology, instrumentation, robotics and many more. The research-based program, M.Phil Electronics, was started in 2019. It is a two years degree program which is focused on finding practical solutions to real-world problems.
