The Government College University Lahore has admitted 235 students to the last class of MA/MSc in nine disciplines including Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Political Science. GCU to establish a grand library in its New Campus

The Government College University Lahore has planned to establish one of Pakistan's largest libraries spread over 12.5 acres in its new campus located at Kala Shah Kaku. The proposed state-of-the-art Library Complex will have capacity of more than 12,000 readers in its five blocks. The Government College University Lahore has postponed its Convocation that's scheduled to be held on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 2021. GCU candlelight vigil pays tribute to Ali Sadpara

A candlelight vigil was held here at the Government College University Lahore to pay tribute to Pakistan's legendry mountain climber, Muhammad Ali Sadpara, who lost his life during an expedition to summit the world's second-highest peak, K2, in the winter season. 40,000 plants donated to GCU

The Sophia Mahmood Ali Foundation has donated as many as 40,000 indigenous plants to the Government College University Lahore Horticulture Society to beautify the university's 370 acres new campus at Kala Shah Kaku. The donation is made in the memory of Sophia alias Gulae, a beautiful girl who loves plants and roses, but she unfortunately lost her life at the age of 24.
