A new Executive Committee of the Old Ravians Union has been elected in a closely contested election held at Government College University Lahore. Syed Tayyab Hussain Rizvi, an eminent lawyer, has been elected as the new president of the Union, winning by a margin of just 22 votes. Mr. Rizvi secured 674 votes, while his opponents Mian Muhammad Ashfaq Mohlan and Dr. Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan got 652 and 36 votes.
