VC requests Governor to approve allowance for GCU staff
 Prof Dr Asghar Zaidi, the Vice Chancellor of Government College University Lahore, has requested Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar to approve the disparity allowance 2021 for his university employees to reduce discrimination in salaries.In the letter, Vice Chancellor Prof. Zaidi wrote that “a structure of Unified Pay Scale was established in 1972 for all government servants. GCU establishing Unit for Forgiveness Education and Practice

Academic Council approves reforms in GCU admission policy, accdamic programmes
The Academic Council of Government College University Lahore has approved major reforms in the university's admission process and structure of academic programmes.The Council approved a policy of entrance test and aptitude interview for admissions in undergraduate programmes of all disciplines except Physical Education and Fine Arts, where practical are necessary.Apart from the entrance test carrying a weight of 30%, and aptitude interview 20%, intermediate results will receive the weight of 40% and another 10% will be given to matriculation.Sa... GCU adopts open-book examination system

GCU to hold entrance test for undergraduate admissions
