GCU Lahore gets Rs. 1.84 billion development projects
The federal and provincial governments have initiated four development
projects worth Rs 1,840.75 million for the uplift of Government College
University Lahore.
Out of this highest ever development funds allocation for GCU, a budget of
Rs. 410 million is allocated for the fiscal year 2021-22 only.
The Federal Ministry of Planning and Development approved Rs. 1158 million

The Government College University Lahore and University of Applied Sciences
Neubrandenburg (UASN), Germany have agreed to exchange ten students every
year, and no tuition fee would be charged from these students by the host
university for the next five years.

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that restrictions related
to mask would be eased once a good number of the country's population is
vaccinated.

A special Coronavirus Vaccination Centre was set up here at the Government
College University Lahore under the auspices of District Health Department
for the vaccination of the university's employees and students.

Phase-I of GCU's New Campus completed
The Government College University Lahore has successfully completed Phase-I
of the construction in its 400 acres New Campus at the Kala Shah Kaku with
a cost of Rs. 997.608 million.
In the first phase, one academic block for 1200 students, a boys hostel
