Biography
Yasir Javed Doger is a Multidisciplinary Creative Practitioner, Consultant, and Educationist with expertise in Graphic Design, Photography, Motion Graphics, and Filmmaking. He holds an MS in Film & TV from BNU (2018), a Master’s (2009) and Bachelor’s (2007) in Graphic Design from PUCAD, and a Media Production Certificate from NCA (2007).
Professionally, he has worked as an Art Director, Senior Graphic Designer, Motion Graphics Artist, Set Designer, and Photographer. His experience includes advertising agencies, media houses, educational institutions, community clubs, and NGOs, with names like Time & Space Media, Virtual University of Pakistan, and Royal Palm Golf & Country Club. He has also consulted for brands including Levi’s Pakistan, Subway Pakistan, Sitara Textiles, Metro Cash & Carry, Alshirawi Enterprises (UAE) and Softech-360 (Malaysia).
As a photographer and filmmaker, he has earned recognition at various exhibitions and festivals. He began teaching in 2015 as a Visiting Lecturer at GCU & LCWU. He has delivered guest lectures at UMT & RLKU. He has served as External Juror at GCUF, LCWU, NCB&E and STEPS. His academic contributions include developing a 202-online lectures based Graphic Design course for the National DigiSkills Training Program.
Yasir’s association with GCU began decades ago as a student. He returned as a Lecturer in 2016, where he now teaches design related courses, supervises design student’s projects and advises the Photography Club.
