Biography

Amna Anwaar Khan, is an accomplished graphic designer, illustrator, and art educator who serves as the In-Charge of the Fine Arts Department at Government College University (GCU), Lahore.
An academic achiever, she earned her BFA and MFA in Graphic Design from the PU College of Art and Design (CAD) with distinctions, followed by a gold-medalist MPhil in 2018. Her research highlighted Mughal miniature art, with a particular focus on the flora and fauna from Emperor Jahangir’s era. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Art History at Punjab University.
Since joining GCU in 2012, she has spearheaded vital visual campaigns, including the UN Peace & Education initiative and the Anti-Narcotics Walls of Awareness. Her extensive professional portfolio includes art direction and creative consultancy for major corporate brands like Nestlé, ICI, and Rose Petal. Additionally, she serves as an external examiner and academic board member for several leading Pakistani universities.
