The Department of Molecular Biology was established in 2026 with the following goals
- To provide an enriched environment to students so that they can receive excellent professional and academic grooming to become effective professionals.
- To produce graduates having sound knowledge of the theoretical and practical subject matter in Molecular Biology.
- To produce graduates who have broader view of other disciplines. It will enable them to interact with other branches of knowledge and strengthen their understanding of the society.
- To give adequate scope for bringing out the aptitu¬des and talents of the student necessary for becoming vibrant members of a global society.
The department BS program has been approved and will start admissions in Fall 2026. The MPhil and PhD programs are in the process of obtaining HEC approval.
