Biography

Dr. Asad ur Rehman is an Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of MLT, Dr. Ikram-ul-Haq Institute of Industrial Biotechnology and possesses more than 17 years of post-PhD teaching and research experience with 22 different courses taught (including BS, M. Phil and PhD), more than 100 research/ internship students supervised (including BS, M. Phil and PhD), 48 research papers published in peer reviewed Journals, 37 administrative duties performed, 21 scientific conferences attended, 7 national/ international conferences/ seminars organized, 18 different academic and administrative trainings received, 3 trainings conducted as a resource person, 3 scholarships received from the Governments of 3 countries (MEXT Scholarship, JAPAN, Fulbright Post Doc, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HEC Scholarship, PAKISTAN) and learnt 5 languages including 3 foreign viz. English, Japanese and German.
