Biography

Dr. Shahzad Sharif obtained his PhD in Metal complexes and Crystallography from the Department of Chemistry, Govt. College University, Lahore. He is currently working as assistant professor in the same Institute. He visited the Chemical Crystallography Laboratory, University of Oxford, UK under HEC-IRSIP. His research interests include Synthesis of Lanthanide/Transition Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFS) for electrochemical applications in batteries/supercapacitors and luminescence materials as sensors for detection of chemicals and explosives. He has sufficient skills and expertise to run few hi-tech instruments pertaining to the research area of material Chemistry. He published 109 research articles in peer reviewed journals with cumulative impact factor over 387 and 01 US Patent. He supervised 4 PhD, 44 MS and 51 BS (Hons.) students. He completed four research projects as PI funded by HEC.
