Biography

I, Dr. Muhammad Waqas Anwar is currently working as Professor & Chairperson in the Department of Computer Science, GC University, Lahore. I graduated from Hamdard University in 2001 and joined CUI as Lecturer in 2002. After 2.5 years, I proceeded for PhD from Harbin Institute of Technology. P.R.China and accomplished my research work in the field of Artificial Intelligence and specifically Natural Language Processing.
I have already published over 100+ papers in well reputed journals and conferences including the Journal of Pattern Recognition, Journal of Neural Computing and Applications, PLoS ONE, IEEE Access, Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems Proceedings of the IJCNLP, COLING, Language Resources and Evaluation etc. My research has over 1700+ citations and Impact Factor of around 100+. I have already supervised 55 MS and 05 PhD students.
