Biography

Jamshaid ur Rehman is an accomplished academician with over 18 years of experience in Economics education and research. He began his journey as a Lecturer at Government College University Lahore in January 2008 and ascended to the position of Assistant Professor in 2019. Specializing in Econometrics, he demonstrates excellence in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to his expertise in Econometrics, he also teaches courses in Industrial Economics, Urban Economics, and Agricultural Economics. His leadership extends beyond the classroom, as he serves as an advisor for the MS Entrepreneurship & SME Management program and coordinates the B.Com Program. Dr. Rehman earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Government College University Lahore, and his scholarly contributions are evidenced by 33 publications in esteemed journals, including Journal of Environmental Management, Resources Policy, European Journal of East Asian Studies, Cogent Economics & Finance, and Quality & Quantity. Furthermore, Dr. Rehman is committed to fostering a robust research culture, as demonstrated through his mentorship of students and collaborative efforts with colleagues.
