Biography

Dr. Shahzad Hussain is a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Public Policy and Governance at Government College University Lahore. With a PhD in Economics, his academic expertise spans macroeconomics, public policy, and development economics, where he has made significant scholarly contributions.
Boasting over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, Dr. Hussain has played a pivotal role in shaping academic discourse and institutional development. His intellectual pursuits have taken him globally, including a tenure as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, UK.
An accomplished research supervisor, he has guided numerous PhD and MS scholars, fostering rigorous academic inquiry.
