Ms Erum Makhdoom is an experienced academic professional in Psychology, specializing in both theoretical and applied aspects of the field. She is deeply committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment and advancing psychological knowledge through rigorous research and practical teaching methodologies. Possessing strong analytical skills, she is passionate about guiding students toward academic excellence while actively pursuing a PhD in Psychology at GCU Lahore. Her academic foundation includes an MPhil Psychology (2014-2016) and a BS Honors Psychology (2010-2014) from GCU Lahore
Her extensive employment history includes her current appointment as a Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, GCU, Lahore since September 2019, and previously served as a Regular Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Lahore Leads University, Lahore since January 2019 to September 2019. She has also served as a Visiting Lecturer at Riphah International University (Sep 2018–Feb 2019) and GCU Lahore (Feb 2017–Jan 2019). Her core skills include Teaching, Curriculum Development, Research, Student Assessment, Mentoring, and Academic Writing.
Ms Erum has actively contributed to academia through extensive supervision and service activities. A key area of her expertise is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), evidenced by the specialized workshops she has designed and facilitated as a Resource Person.
