Biography

Muhammad Manzoor Elahi, Lecturer in Political Science at Government College University Lahore, Pakistan, focuses on environmental politics, climate (de-)coloniality, and the green energy transition in the Global South. Currently, he collaborates on research related to decarbonising higher education with Germany’s HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.

His recent publications include Pakistan’s Energy Conundrum, Coloniality of International Climate Litigation, and Environmental Devolution in the Global South. His book chapter, titled “Decolonising Global Climate Policy: Towards Epistemic Pluriversity in Climate Governance,” was published in The Emerald Handbook of Decolonising Sustainability, Energy Transition and Social Justice: A Global South Perspective, edited by Bridget Irene (2025).

He has participated in various international academic forums, including Utrecht University, Netherlands; Tsinghua University, China; University of Shanghai, China; Newcastle University, United Kingdom; University of Manchester, United Kingdom; Istanbul Arel University, Turkey; ECO Educational Institute, Turkey; and HAW Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
