Biography
Dr. Muhammad Naveed Sial holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, where he also completed his M.Phil. with the highest distinction. His doctoral research examined political parties and political development with a focus on democratization, party politics, and governance. He began his academic career as a Lecturer in the Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantts/Garrisons), selected through the Federal Public Service Commission, before joining Government College University Lahore as Assistant Professor.
He has taught a wide range of courses including Political Philosophy, Political Geography, Civil-Military Relations, Politics of International Relations, and Comparative Political Systems. His research spans political development, security studies, and regional conflicts, published in peer-reviewed journals. A recipient of the Best Teacher Award from the Federal Government Educational Institutions, he has also won co-curricular competitions at university and national levels. Dr. Naveed Sial actively contributes to institutional development through quality assurance, curriculum development, and student support, and remains committed to mentoring students for competitive examinations and fostering their academic and professional growth.
