Biography

I am currently serving as a Lecturer at the Institute of Media and Communication Studies, Government College University Lahore. With over a decade of academic and professional experience, my work spans teaching, research, journalism, and content development. Before joining GCU, I worked as a Lecturer at Minhaj University Lahore and as an Assistant Professor at Greenwich University Karachi, and I have supervised Nine M.Phil. scholars in their research projects. I am also pursuing my PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi.
Alongside my academic career, I write regularly for Deutsche Welle (DW) Germany, where my articles focus on socio-political, gender, and international affairs. My earlier work includes contributions to HumSub, hosting a youth-oriented radio program on FM 96.6, and serving as Sub-Editor for The Nation on Campus. My research interests include media framing, conflict reporting, political communication, and representation studies, and I have several publications in recognized national journals. My professional journey also includes representing Pakistan in international academic exchanges and participating in prestigious youth leadership platforms. With a strong commitment to critical inquiry, responsible communication, and public engagement, I continue to contribute to both academic scholarship and socially relevant discourse.
