Biography

Dr. Muhammad Waseem Ashraf received his Doctor of Engineering in Microelectronics at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand in 2011. Previously, he received Master of Philosophy in Microelectronics Engineering and Semiconductor Physic from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and Master of Science in Physics from GC University Lahore, Pakistan. Currently, he is working as Head Department of Electronics, at GC University, Lahore, Pakistan. He also served at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand as Research Associate and Research Specialist. During his service at GC University, Dr. Waseem has established Nano-electronics Research Lab. and AI & Robotics Lab. to facilitate the researchers and students whom wanted to conduct the state of art research related to Nano-Electronic, Energy devices, AI and Robotics. He has supervised 9 PhDs, 70 MPhil. and 70 B. Sc. (Hon.), thesis successfully. He is author/co-author of more than 200 peer reviewed international Conference papers, Book chapters and Impact factor Journal articles with accumulative impact factor more than 130 plus. He won several best paper awards in various International Conferences. He has also served as program committee member, technical committee member, reviewer, editor and Founding Chair of various International Conferences and Impact Factor Journals. His research interests are Simulation, Modeling, IoT, Fuzzy Systems, Artificial Intelligence, MEMS, NEMS, Nanotechnology
