Biography

Dr. Khurram Shabbir is a Professor of Mathematics at Government College University (GCU) Lahore and currently serves as the In-charge /Director General of the Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences (Abdus Salam-SMS). He specializes in algebraic topology, combinatorics, and geometry, and is actively involved in teaching and research supervision at the postgraduate level. Dr. Shabbir earned his PhD from Abdus Salam-SMS, GC University Lahore, completed postdoctoral research at the Instituto de Matemáticas, UNAM (Mexico), and holds an MSc from the University of the Punjab. With numerous research contributions and conference presentations, he plays a leading role in advancing mathematical education and research in Pakistan, particularly through his leadership at Abdus Salam-SMS and participation in national and international academic initiatives.
