Biography

Dr. Asifa Alam is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Studies at Government College University (GCU), Lahore. Her work spans environmental science, climate change, sustainable development, and global environmental issues.

She is a Gold Medalist and Academic Roll of Honour recipient in BS (Hons). Before joining academia, she worked as an Environmentalist at Samson Group, where she received the ‘Best Employee Award’ and a ‘Plantation Excellence Award’ in recognition of her outstanding environmental contributions.

Dr. Alam has presented her research on various platforms and published in reputable journals. She is dedicated to mentoring students, promoting environmental literacy, and integrating sustainability into academic and community programs.
