Biography
Dr. Shaista Hameed Khan is an Associate Professor of Urdu at Government College University, Lahore, and a recognized Ph.D. supervisor by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. She holds a Ph.D. in Urdu from GCU Lahore. She has over 20 years of teaching experience. She has taught undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students, while also supervising research at M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels. She is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as an approved Ph.D. supervisor. Her areas of expertise include Urdu prose and literary criticism. She has authored several research books, edited multiple academic volumes, and published numerous articles in national and international journals. Dr. Shaista has also actively contributed to academic development through curriculum design, research supervision, and editorial work with HEC-recognized journals.
