Biography
Dr. Nasima Rehman is an accomplished Urdu Literature scholar and Associate Professor (BS-20) at Government College University, Lahore. A Gold Medalist and Ph.D. holder, she specializes in Urdu prose, fiction, literary criticism, and cultural studies. With over two decades of teaching and research experience, she has supervised numerous Ph.D, M.Phil, M.A and undergraduate theses and published extensively in HEC-recognized journals. Her work bridges classical and modern Urdu literature, exploring narrative techniques, cultural contexts, and comparative perspectives. She has held key administrative roles, served on multiple academic committees, organized national and international conferences, and contributed to student development as an advisor and external examiner. She is recognized for her scholarly rigor, mentorship, and leadership in advancing Urdu literary studies.
