Biography
Muhammad Mubashir Hussain is an academic, trainer, researcher, and curriculum developer specializing in accounting, finance, and management. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Management Studies Department , and is currently pursuing his PhD in Accounting at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. The Waikato Management School of the University of Waikato is a triple crown business school (top 1% worldwide)
He holds an MS in Banking and Financial Economics, and an MBA in Banking and Finance with distinction. His academic profile is complemented by master’s degrees in Economics and English Literature, along with professional qualifications including PIPFA, JAIBP, AIMM, and LCIS.
With extensive teaching experience since 2007, he has been teaching courses in accounting, finance, and management. He has also played a key role in launching three academic programs, establishing YDC, leading purchase & inventory management, and representing the varsity at various notable platforms. He has also been engaged in curriculum development at institutional and national levels.
His research focuses on Accounting, finance, and corporate Reporting, and he has been supervising various research projects and delivering professional training for entrepreneurs, public sector institutions, and development initiatives. His work reflects a strong commitment to academic excellence, research, and capacity building in higher education and training.
