Biography

Saba Sana has been working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Microbiology, IIIB, Government University Lahore, Pakistan since November 2023. She is Ex-lecturer UVAS from 2017-2023. She holds BS (Hons.) Applied Microbiology and M.Phil Microbiology degrees. She is Gold medalist in BS (Hons.) session (2008-2012) and Silver medalist in M.Phil session (2012-2014).She completed her Ph.D in 2019 and her work was on “Purification and Characterization of Aflatoxins Produced by Indigenous Aspergilli under Optimized Conditions”. She remained research scholar during her PhD research under IRSIP HEC in Cornell University. She participated in several workshops, trainings, webinar and seminar. She remained actively involved in arranging training workshops in her filed.
