Publication Ethics

The Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Ventures adheres to high standards of ethical behavior and integrity throughout the publication process. Below are the key ethical guidelines:

1. Peer Review Process:
  • The journal is peer-reviewed, and all submitted manuscripts undergo a blind review by relevant experts.
  • The editor ensures the peer review process is fair, unbiased, and timely.
  • Standards of expected ethical behavior apply to the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, and the publisher.
2. Desk Review:
  • Submitted manuscripts first go through a "Desk Review" to evaluate relevance, content, and originality.
  • Suitable manuscripts are then sent to referees for further evaluation.
3. Submission/Publications Fees:
  • There are no submission or publication fees for authors.
4. Originality and Declaration:
  • Authors must provide a written declaration that the submitted article is original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
5. Confidentiality:
  • The Editor, Editorial Board, and reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts and drafts.
  • The editor must protect the confidentiality of all submitted material and communications with reviewers.
6. Editorial Policies:
  • Policies should encourage transparency and complete, honest reporting.
  • Editors ensure that peer reviewers and authors clearly understand their expectations.
7. Handling Ethical Issues:
  • The Editor and Editorial Board will address ethical issues related to submitted or published manuscripts.
  • Any act of unethical publishing behavior will be investigated, even if discovered years after publication.

The Journal of Entrepreneurship and Business Ventures is committed to maintaining ethical standards in publishing. This includes a rigorous and fair peer review process, protection of confidentiality, encouragement of transparency, and the responsibility to address any ethical issues that arise.
