“Climate Change and Disasters” is an academic journal dedicated to exploring the critical interactions between climate change and disaster risk assessment and management. As the global climate continues to evolve, the frequency and intensity of disasters are on the rise, posing significant challenges to both human and ecological systems. Climate change is leading to more frequent and severe disasters such as hurricanes, droughts, floods and wildfires, affecting communities and their economic activities worldwide. This journal aims to enhance our preparedness, response and resilience to these catastrophic events.
The primary objectives of “Climate Change and Disasters” are to foster cutting-edge research that advances our understanding of the interactions between climate change and disasters, to provide evidence-based insights for policymakers to develop effective mitigation and adaptation strategies and to promote interdisciplinary collaboration among experts from various fields.
This journal invites empathetic researchers from diverse fields of knowledge to address climate change and disasters taking place at their respective thresholds, along with their prescribed possible precautionary measure to avoid those issues, be they avalanches, floods, drying up of water-bodies or any other disaster backed up by climate change.
