PRCS donates handwashing stations to GCU

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS), Punjab on Monday installed handwashing stations and hand sanitizers machines at the Government College University Lahore for students and faculty members.

PRCS Punjab Chairman Justice (r) Sheikh Ahmed Farooq also handed over the sanitizers and antiseptic to Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi at a graceful ceremony on the university campus where the University’s senior faculty members were also present.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Zaidi said there is a historical connection between PRCS and GCU; both the historical institutions have made valuable contributions for their country and people. He said the University’s Ravians Forensic Society and Disease Awareness Society have developed strong partnership with PRCS.

Justice (r) Sheikh Farooq said the Punjab Red Crescent aims to promote precautionary measures in educational institutions to defeat the Coronavirus. He added that they are installing hand sanitizer machines and hand washing stations in various government offices and educational institutions.
