Government College University (GCU) Lahore has awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science to Mr. Rana Tahir Rehman. His research focused on “Women Harassment at Workplaces in Lahore (2002–2022),” a critical study supervised by Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt. His work received positive evaluations from international experts, including scholars from the National University of Singapore and the University College of Norwegian Correctional Service.

A research article based on his thesis was published in a peer-reviewed international journal in April 2023.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry congratulated Mr. Rana Tahir Rehman on this academic milestone, stating, “GCU takes pride in producing research scholars whose work addresses significant societal challenges. I hope Mr. Rehman’s research contributes meaningfully to policy and awareness regarding workplace harassment.”
