The Library Society of Government College University (GCU) Lahore, in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Islamia Graduate College Civil Lines, organized an educational exhibition exploring the world's historical and scientific realities.
Held at GCU’s historic Salam Hall, the event featured a wide range of displays highlighting global and regional geographical phenomena. Exhibits included diagrams of the Earth's internal structure, tectonic plates, and systems of latitude and longitude—serving as practical and visual resources for students of geography, geology, and environmental sciences.
GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry inaugurated the exhibition. He was accompanied by Principal of Islamia Graduate College Civil Lines Dr. Akhtar Hussain Sandhu, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Babar Aziz, and Chief Librarian Muhammad Naeem.
Commending the initiative, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Omer Chaudhry stated, “Understanding the Earth's dynamics is crucial to addressing global challenges such as climate change and natural disasters.”
The one-day exhibition attracted a large number of students from various universities and colleges.
