Government College University (GCU) Lahore on Thursday hosted two international delegations for discussions on academic collaboration and cultural exchange.

A 39-member Sikh delegation from the United Kingdom, led by Chander Shekhar, visited the university and met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Umar Chaudhry. The delegation was briefed on GCU’s academic achievements and historical significance. Senior faculty members, including Prof. Babar Aziz, Dr. Shaukat Ali, and Dr. Kalyan Singh Kalyan, were also present.

Separately, a South Korean delegation comprising academics and representatives from the technology sector held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor. Talks focused on strengthening academic ties, initiating student exchange programs, and promoting Korean language education in Pakistan.
