University of Management and Technology (UMT) and Government College University (GCU) Lahore have signed a memorandum of understanding. The objective of the MoU is to promote faculty and student exchange including research and development collaboration, exchange of library resources between the two educational institutions so that the two institutions can jointly find the best solutions to the challenges faced by country
In the MoU ceremony, Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza, Vice Chancellor GC University Professor Dr. Ahmad Adnan, Registrar UMT Saleem Atta, Director QEC Asif Saeed Haider, Sajeel Ahmed, Engineer Asif Nazir and Chief Librarian UMT Zaheer Ahmed while from GC University Engineer Noor Muhammad Sheikh, Director External Relations Dr. Fauzia Shaheen, Chief Librarian GC University Muhammad Naeem and others participated.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor GC University Prof. Dr. Ahmad Adnan expressed his views and said that it is a pleasure to promote education together with a wonderful educational institution like UMT. He said that this agreement with UMT will not only be limited to papers but will be implemented in practice so that research can be promoted.
Addressing the ceremony, Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza said that it is a matter of pride to serve the country and nation together with an educational institution like GCU. He further said that the two educational institutions will play a key role in finding solutions to the country's problems through modern research.
Rector UMT Dr. Asif Raza and Vice Chancellors GC University Professor Dr. Ahmad Adnan signed the MoU. At the end of the ceremony, the heads of the both institutions also exchanged souvenirs on this occasion.
