The rendition of music legend Lata Mangeshkar's songs resonated through the Bukhari Auditorium of Government College University Lahore on Thursday as its Nazir Ahmad Music Society organised a special concert to pay tribute to the late singer.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi, senior faculty members and a large number of students attended the concert. The members of university's Nazir Ahmad Music Society sang the legendary singer's iconic songs including her "Dushman Na Kare Dost Ne Wo Kaam" and "Meri Awaz Hi Meri Pehchan Hai".

Held in a surreal setting, the event left the attendees awestruck.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Zaidi said the voice of Lata Mangeshkar would remain immortal in the moments of happiness, love, joy and sorrow.  He appreciated the students of NAMS for hosting surreal concert in the memory of Lata Mangeshkar.
