Biography

I did intermediate, BS (Economics) and Master of Philosophy in Economics from Government College University Lahore. I spent almost eight years at Government College University Lahore as a student. During this time, as a student, I received two distinctions from the Government College University Lahore, for my contributions in the university magazines as co-editor of The Gazette and The RAVI. After doing post graduation from Government College University Lahore, I joined University of Education and worked there for almost three years as a lecturer in Department of Economics and Business Administration. Then, I joined Virtual University of Pakistan, one and only Federal Chartered e-learning university of Pakistan. After serving there as a permanent faculty member at Department of Economics for two years, I joined my alma mater Government College University as lecturer in Department of Economics. I am also pursuing Doctorate in Economics from Department of Economics, Government College University Lahore. I feel lucky enough to have such an experience so early in my career. I have also written number of columns and opinions on various socioeconomic topics in different English Dailies. I believe that nothing is certain in life and we must always work hard to achieve the desired targets.
