Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Government College University Lahore, Pakistan, and an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. My research expertise covers public economics, energy and environmental economics, with a particular focus on the nexus between energy systems and environmental policy. Over the years, I have made substantial contributions to these fields through high-impact publications and diverse editorial roles. I currently serve as Editor of the Government College Economic Journal, Associate Editor for Scientific Reports (Nature) and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Nature), Editorial Board Member for Heliyon (Elsevier), and Associate Editor for SAGE Open (SAGE). In addition to these editorial responsibilities, I contribute to global research innovation as a Project Expert for Innovate UK and the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA), Saudi Arabia. More generally, I have an empirical macroeconomics research agenda covering the applied fields of energy economics and public economics.
