Biography
For the past 26 years, I’ve been teaching French, and my focus has always been on helping you feel at ease with the language, not just in theory but in real-life situations. My academic background, a Master’s degree in French language and literature gave me a strong foundation, which I later reinforced by earning the DALF C1, an advanced diploma awarded by the French government. Over the years, I’ve made it a point to keep learning myself, regularly attending training workshops to stay current with effective, student centered teaching methods. As a certified examiner of international French exams, accredited by the French Ministry of National Education, I understand exactly what you need to succeed, whether your goal is communication or certification. My experience goes beyond the classroom as well: I’ve worked as a Francophone guide, translator, and interpreter, using French in authentic, professional contexts. I’ve also traveled to France several times for training, which has helped me stay closely connected to the language as it is truly spoken and lived. When you learn with me, you’re not just learning rules, you’re building confidence, cultural awareness, and the ability to express yourself naturally in French.
