Biography

Ms. Kanza Tariq is a committed academic and practitioner at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, GC University Lahore. With years of clinical experience, she brings a multidisciplinary approach to pharmaceutical education, from supervising pharmacy operations to leading clinical care and developing personalized management plans for chronic illnesses. She holds an M.Phil. in Pharmacy Practice from Lahore College for Women University, where she graduated with a Gold Medal and completed her Pharm.D. from the same institution. She currently teaches Clinical Biochemistry, and has previously taught Clinical and Hospital Pharmacy, Community Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Marketing and Management courses at her earlier institutes, while mentoring community pharmacy research projects and leading practical training initiatives along the way. Her pedagogical philosophy is rooted in creating an interactive, research-informed learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion, preparing students to become competent and empathetic healthcare experts. As the focal person for Community Pharmacy Services at GCUL, she exemplifies the integration of academic excellence with a profound commitment to community wellness, chronic disease management, and preventive care. Ms. Tariq is a strong advocate for expanding the role of community pharmacists in preventive healthcare and continues to pursue research aimed at improving health outcomes across Pakistan.
