In a historic display of diplomatic mastery and oratorical skill, the GCU Debating Society’s Model United Nations Wing swept the top honors at RIVYMUN, hosted by Roots International School DHA Phase 5, bringing home both the Best Delegation Award and the Runners-up Best Delegation Award.

Commending the student contingent on their achievement, the Vice-Chancellor lauded the debaters for raising the bar of institutional excellence. The society's record-breaking run was anchored by a series of top individual awards. Best Delegate honors were claimed by Azain Ali Khan in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Rana Naffay and Ali Mohtasham Dogar in the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), and Diyan in the Pakistan National Assembly (PNA). Adding to the impressive tally, Outstanding Diplomacy Awards were conferred upon Syed Ahmad in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), alongside Abdullah and Moeez, both representing DISEC.

Rounding out the winning performance across all active chambers, Jawad in the UNSC, Mohsin in the UNHRC, and both Fareed Akram and Abdul Wasay in the PNA received Honourable Mention Awards.
