In today's highly interconnected world, mass media shape our shared reality. Navigating this landscape requires a discerning press and ethical communicators, making media training both a practical and moral necessity.
At the Department of Media Studies, Government College University Lahore, our goal is to maintain a supportive and deeply engaged relationship with our students. We are devoted to generating intellectual excitement, transforming lives by teaching critical and creative thinking, and rigorously preparing our graduates for dynamic careers in the media industry. To further support the practical needs of our students, the department proudly sponsors the Young Journalists' Society (YJS), a platform for our students to gain hands-on experience and peer collaboration.
